PSP on sale at FYE for 169.99 - 30 Rebate = 139.99

I had never been to an FYE before, they sell mostly new/used cd/dvds/and some games.

The psps are all in the back, I got one with version 2.6 firmware...

Thought I would share!!  I have never seen it any cheaper...

I am currently enjoying playing old school NES/Genesis games on it...

Apparently it stands for "For Your Entertainment".  Like I said, I had never been to one until a few days ago.  There seems to be quite a few of them:

BTW, the rebate is only valid if you buy from the store (no online purchases)...

Fye used to be Sam Goody and Suncoast video in a lot of places before they bought them all out and re-branded them.
$6.75 the hard way-one quarter at a time.

sony is comming out with the newer lighter and slightly slimmer design for the exact same price as the old version so it makes sense to get rid of em.

Oh yeah, I saw that press release:

"PSP - New, slimmer look; same crappy games"

 ;D

BTW off topic but FYE has their cashiers hard-sell you subscriptions to magazines you already have or don't want.  When I purchased a DVD over at the Roosevelt Field mall by me, the large overeager managerial type was using such extreme pressure tactics you'd swear a sniper from Entertainment Weekly was trained on his head from the decorative blimp in the food court.   Oh, that and their prices are a tad high.  I avoid FYE whenever possible.

I think I'll wait until they're forced to start dumping them at $75 or under before I buy my portable emulation machine.

Not worth it for their library of games.  Barely worth it if you want to play NES games on the go.  Get a DS.

If you have a PS3 or plan on getting one, they are going to be doing some really neat things soon with PSP/PS3 integration (i.e. ability to stream movies/pictures from your home network to your PSP with any wireless hotspot)
