I'm just about done with my latest upright cabinet and looking at what to do next. I think a cocktail cab built from scratch would keep me out of trouble for a little while and I'm trying to decide on what display to use. My upright has a 26" arcade monitor installed horizontally so a dedicated upright cocktail is where I'm heading. I am going to stay away from arcade monitors and use a PC monitor as I got a bit sick of all the tweaking etc with the arcade monitor and tube.
My question is this, will a 21" PC monitor give me a decent display in a cocktail cabinet or should I be looking for something bigger? (bearing in mind that there is a pretty big jump in price for anything over 21").

Thank you

I'd use a 19".

I'd use a 19" widescreen LCD.

Yeah, not sure what the point of a widescreen LCD is. Seems it would skew all the games if it went full screen or give you bars.

I like bars...I used to visit a lot more of them when I was younger.

There are 10 types of people out there...those that understand binary, and those that don't.

I use 19 and 20s in mine.
They are plenty big enough in a cocktail.

Good call on using a PC monitor  ;)
