Gave it a try, and I did get it to work, but you need a DLL file from XP - d3drm.dll.

If you don't have an XP machine to grab it from you can get it here -
http://www.driverskit.net/dll/get/494.html

Unzip and place it in your Windows/system32 folder

Hope it works for you.

What Zh said, though I just put the .dll into the program directory for the game, I hate adding random DLLs to my Windows directory.

Glad to know that works as well. I simply put it in the system folder, because after gogling the problem, I found a fair number of programs that seem to have this problem. This early in the Vista cycle, I just thought it might save me future aggravation.

Cool, thanks! :)

Worked like a champ copying the file from XP.

Now all I need to do is figure out how to remap keys on my control panel and I'll be set.

Thanks again...

Downloaded it, did not work. After confirmation of the necessary hardware, all I got was a grid displayed on screen.

That is with a windows xp pro with sp2.

Oh well, perhaps I will try to config it later....

Once you get the grid, wait a minute or so, maybe smack some keys, it will eventually move past it.
