IPAC 2/4 LEDS
« on: July 10, 2007, 03:41:46 pm »
Has anyone used the LEDS that you can buy for your ipac 2/4?  Do you know which games they work with?  Any feedback is appreciated.

I used my own LEDs and a circuit built by whammoed to convert to the higher current needed with superbrights.  The LEDs Ultimarc sells most likely aren't bright enough to light up a start button if that's what you are after.  Anyway, once hooked to the IPAC they blink just like the keyboard LEDs do when you insert coins in MAME.  Works great in all the old Atari games (Centipede, Asteroids, Marble Madness, etc) and many more.

EDIT: this is the kind of circuit you will need for using superbright LEDs...

Sweet, i might just have to get one of those.  Would make a nice addition at the top of the control panel.
