I accidently broke one of the ones that came with my mameroom bartop kit and would like to replace the metal part.  I looked at lowes but they were clueless as to what I was looking for lol:

i would send a email to mameroom... they would defiantly have them and may be willing to ship you off one. it would be easier then searching for one that would fit.

if not that, try an Ikea, they sell misc parts, usually near the returns counter, if one of their pieces uses it they would have it.

good luck.

I have NO idea what I'm looking at in that picture.

If it's just part of a normal cam lock, like the ones used to close an arcade coin door, then you need to ask the Lowe's guys for "Mailbox Locks". I'm guessing it's not that, though, I'd suggest digging around in their random parts aisle (usually near the nuts and bolts, they have all sorts of unusual connectors and cabinet bits and pieces).

Can't tell much from the picture......

Are you talking about an actual "lock" of some sort?

Or is it like the quick assembly cam locks for the DIY type furniture kits?

This is sometimes used in furniture assembly.  These locks go over metal pegs that are mounted on the vertical pieces of furniture (4) and you slide horizontal piece with these locks on top of them.  Then use screwdriver to secure it in place (twist to tighten).  Pretty common with shelves that are adjustable.  Makes the whole piece of furniture more rigid than just usual shelve pegs (and no lock).

Its what torez said.  They go over medal pegs to lock two pieces together.  I'll just email scott and asking him about ordering some.  I wasn't sure how common they were.

Lowes should have them. I know I've bought replacement cams there. In the fastener aisle they have many, many drawers full of specialty pieces. It should be in one of those. If possible, you might bring one of yours to make sure that they know what you're talking about and that you can also make sure they're the same size.

You also might check your local yellow pages to see if you have anyplace that specializes in woodworking supplies like Rockler. They would definitely have them.

Just email Mameroom, I'm sure they will send you another.

If you can't get in touch, PM me your address and I'll send you a set.  I use the same ones.

I order them by the 100, so I'm not sure my vendor will help out much ;).
