What's used to cover original cocktail control panels, are they powder coated or spray painted?
I've just had a few sets made up and need to get them covered after I've drilled and welded them.

Powder coating is much more durable than paint. You can even get a powder coating kit at Sears.

on my CPs, i found regular contact to be really tough. BUT, they were aluminium and contact sticks like ---spice girls--- to a blanket. also i dont know how long it would go before steel ones rusted underneath the contact...
