PS/N64 controller to USB
« on: April 23, 2003, 02:11:12 am »
Anyone know of a good adapter for USB and Parallel. I'm thinking of putting two PS controllers on the mame cab (hiding them out of sight when not in use). Thanks

They sell adaptors for playstation controllers, but I am not sure why you would want to use them, when you can buy a PC gamepad that is layed out exactly the same as a playstation one for cheaper than the adaptor.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

The Soyo Kikijoy is pretty awesome for a dualshock.
It has full analog support as well as force feedback for DirectX (force feedback) supported games. It's also cheap and has great driver support. They are cheap and are found at Fry's $10

I have a Boom imported from Hong Kong for N64 and PSX. There's not force feedback support but the analog support is there as well as dual controller support.

I got a perfectly good adapter off of  ebay a couple months ago for less than $10 I think.  Look for posts by me in this forum about USB.
