If you have dual screens Freeboxjukebox.com will run video in a jukebox fashion.

My jukebox is made for videos and/or audio files and supports dual monitor and has a lot of features and is FREE.

It requires the following harddrive format:

    .../MusicDirectory/Artist/Album/SongFile

You can check it out here --> http://unclet.arcadecontrols.com/Jukebox/index.html

Let me know how it goes if you end up using it  .....

Thanks for the help but I am looking for something that will play music vids in a little window not full screen. I also want to use only one monitor. What I am trying to say is I have seen juke software that displays the album cover art. But insted of art in the little window you have the option of playing 80's metal videos :)

I have no idea what a "mini itx M1200" is  :dunno     I would assume the display screen is "mini" ..... if this is the case, you might not be able to see stuff, although you can play around with fonts, etc.... to get it how you like it.   It also allows for 1, 4, 9, 16 and 25 album covers to be displayed at one time ..... for small displays you probably want to use 1 or 4 per page.

Yes, interfacing with a trackball works well.    The software supports dual-screen monitors but it is not mandatory .... it works well on one screen as well.    I would recommend configuring about 10 artists with album/songs in the correct directory structure and then try out the software to see if it has what you want.

Also, knowing that videos might not be as clear as the ripped mp3 audio file, my software allows the video and audio file of the same song to exist in the same directory location at the same time.  You then always have the option of playing the video or audio file, depending on what you want to listen to.   Of course you can set an option to default to giving videos preference over the audio files (or vice versa)

Anyway, try it out and see what it has in it ...... there is a lot of stuff.   I created it since I have tons of music videos.

My software in compatible with Windows operating systems (not Linux) and requires Windows Media Player V9.0 (or above) to be installed since this is what it uses to play the videos/audio files.

Dammit I am at work now I am itching to try it out. My evil plan was to gank videos offa youtube and replace the audio tracks with my cd versions as all the vids on YT are out of sync. Does that make me a half theif?

I have never been on You Tube ..... I have heard about it, but have no desire to check it out  ......  yes, I am old I guess

It would seem a lot easier to simply record VH1 or MTV

I have no idea what a "mini itx M1200" is
Its basically a regular PC motherboard that is well smaller. Making it mini

YouTube is basically a website that contains tons and tons of videos submitting by its members. Kinda cool actually. I store my off road adventure videos on it.

Arcade Music Box (my a bit old software now) do support video using one screen in either windowed or in fullscreen (depend when gui is used or not). windowed/fullscreen is changeable using a button.

MultiJuke does only support cdg, not videos. Videos is not planned in MultiJuke yet, due by no commands in BlitzMax supporting videos or html pages in fullscreen (it would been nice to support them as well).

Here Uncle's software may been better here, if you have highresolution monitor.

Decade Old Work: MultiFE, ArcadeMusicBox
Today Works: Various Spectrum Next games from Rusty Pixels and html5 games.

Firefox has a plugin for it. Or for IE this site has a tool.

The vids only play with VLC media player you have to convert them to mpeg1 for MP.

I'm not 100% sure, but I doubt most music videos would sync with the studio tracks.

Update:
just messing around as I have been busy with RL but so far Unclet juke box program is working pretty good so far.
How I got some videos:
Grab them from YT then use ImToo mpeg converter to convert them to mpeg 1.
I will also try Freebox also and choose the best outta the two.

Do you know of a good FREE converter?

Free Riva FLV Encoder 2.0
http://www.download.com/Riva-FLV-Encoder/3000-2140-10320097.html?part=dl-RivaFLVEn&subj=dl&tag=button

Just change the destination video file to have an extension of mpg then click Encode.

I tested a few programs and settled with Unclet's because it was the only program that played videos without hassle. It worked without hardly any fiddling around. The system I used is a Epia MII 12000 motherboard stuffed into a intec GBA pro gamers case. It's really portable and I use it at work on a NTSC monitor and speakers.

How about posting a picture of your jukebox cabinet using my software?   It would serve as unrefutable evidence someone other than myself actually uses it   :P   Perhaps you would let me place the picture on my website?  I plan on adding a page to display pictures of cabients which use my software ..... just as soon as my own jukebox cabinet is built.

Are you using a touchscreen monitor or did you decide to interface using the trackball?

PS: That GBA box is cool ........

I wish I had a cab because the comp is so portable I can use it anywhere I find speakers and LCD/CRT/Television. I even carry around a mini keyboard and mouse. Touch screens are too pricey for me right now. As for controls I just use a keyboard & mouse.
