Dumb Marquee Questions
« on: July 05, 2007, 11:06:43 am »
Let me start with this dislcaimer: I did a search but didn't find an answer to these questions even though it is extremely simple.

This weekend I intend on putting together most of the my second cabinet.  The first time around I wasn't extremely pleased with how my marquee retainer worked out so I bought the Happs marquee retainer.  My question is, how does this mount to my cabinet? I know a picture is worth a thousand words, so I threw together a very basic mspaint sketch of my question.  Imagine the marquee being the red block.  Does it go on the end of the wood or inside?  How do you mount it as well?  Thanks in advance!

Nathan

my drawing skills suck, but you can see that the marquee will sit at the top and the bottom repectively, and you put screws up or down thru to hold it on - the silver cross things are screws.

I used screws to attach my marquee so I could unscrew it to change the light bulb if needed in the future ......

something to keep in mind .... since some people glue theirs on ....
