WTB: Sega Outrun Steering Wheel Gear
« on: June 30, 2007, 11:50:09 pm »
I am looking for the gears for a Sega Outrun stand up arcade game.  Mine has a broken gear which is the smaller gear that is attached to the shaft of the wheel.   I might also be interested in purchasing an entire steering wheel assembly if someone has one.

Ponyboy was able to get me a replacement for a cracked steering gear on a Sega Power Drift.  It was not cheap, but it's not exactly an easy part to find, so I was glad to get it.

Yeah I got an Outrun cabinet for $50 dollars a couple days ago, and the small gear is broken in 3 places and being held together with a zip tie, but the broken teeth keep it from being centered.  I will try checking with Ponyboy, but am still interested if anyone has anything.

Thanks Kremmit.
