Hey guys I have 6 sets of the new revision 2 optics, I have the sale price of $6.00 a set shipping in the conus US if you need.  I will not have anymore at this price once they are gone. Happ # S822-SD DUAL CHANNEL SLOTTED OPTICAL SWITCH "NEW REVISION"
These sell for $10.50 each at happ.  These just released 3 weeks ago & are a upgrade for all previous optics...you will have to remove the old chip & solder these in place but its pretty easy.  The new optics make the trackballs very responsive, I changed mine out

I'm curious, do you have any information on what chip they replaced?

Sorry the only info I have this replaces all previous version of the optical switch, there has been several threads on the forums with people having issues with their tb's this seems to have fixed the issues so far, its only been 4 weeks,(plus happ did several weeks of testing on these new chips) I have not heard of anymore issues ones this chip is changed, you will have 8 solder points per board. This might also prevent issues from developing in the future for owners of the older boards.

Do you have a pic of them, I have an old atari trackball, and I don't think that the optic boards are good in it, because I plugged it into my golden tee cab, and nothing happened.
