Would this be worth restoring/buying?
« on: June 28, 2007, 09:41:45 am »
I'm a big fan of cocktail cabs, just never had the time/money to build/buy one.

http://bn.craigslist.org/ele/342433880.html

Looks decent in condition...but I dont know enough about them/this one to be sure...

any suggestions?

If it was close to me I would probably go for it. Especially if you can make him an offer of $75 or so. Looks to be in pretty decent condition and if you're in the market anyway...
I've got a fever...

For $100 it is still good.  Buy and restore.

Ive been looking at this myself for awhile I almost called him last weekend to offer him 75 for it. I am only like 20 minutes from el paso.  I cant tell from the pictures what the overall look of the cabinet is.. If I had the extra money last weekend I was going to pick this up..

i emailed him today to see if he still had it...no response yet.

if he does, I'll probably offer 75 and see what happens.  I can't justify putting too much into something I know literally nothing about...but it would be a great place to start learning  :D

on a side note, i picked up a 15" touchscreen today for $25!  Craigslist is awesome!  :D :D

The price is good, but I personally don't like the Nintendo type cocktails that have the controls mounted vertically like that.
They are very uncomfortable to play.
