X-Arcade DIY Kit
« on: June 26, 2007, 12:05:16 am »
I bought already Happs Competition stick & buttons to put inside my empty arcade cabinet...Im planning to put my game consoles inside...

I stumble into this X-arcade DIY kit & was wondering if this is any good? I'm planning to buy the xbox, ps2, dreamcast, & gamecube adapters...

Please comment if you have personal experience using this product...Im mostly going to be playing my xbox that has emulators installed...Not going to be used for PC

In a nutshell.....
Pros....
it's easy to use
setup and installation are very easy
can use all the consoles
Cons....
short wires

I have used the X-Arcade a couple of times...I took apart my 2 player unit and used the guts and a friend of mine bought parts for me to build him a cabinet and that is what he ended up with. I had a good experience both times using the X-Arcade DIY board....the only downside is the length of the wiring harnesses...they tend to be pretty short. That said, with careful planning, they will reach both ends of a 25" control panel.

i posted this in another forum www.shoryuken.com

They said that the x-arcade is crap & has lots of lag in all their adapters...Especially the xbox one...Have you guys experience this?
