If anybody is interested in joining us, several of my friends from another forum and I are all heading back on July 11th. If you want to come hang out with fellow gaming nerds, consider this an "all hands" call.

I'll toss the date on my calendar. They have a few games in there that used to reside in my gameroom... Moon Patrol, Shinobi, and the broken (sorry Devin :dunno) Turbo. I have to go back and make sure they are still working properly on a regular basis.

I have been procrastinating on a requested review of 1984 forever, so I'm glad that you did this. I'm certain that Kevin Steele over at GameRoom Magazine would publish this article if you would send it to him. You certainly did a better job writing the review than I would have, so toss it his way.

I know this is a 2+ month bump, but I just had to add in my thoughts.  We had my son's 12th birthday at 1984, just under a year ago.  I have to say it was the best party we have ever had, bar none.  Several of my friends were able to break onto the high score board, and even non-gamers (like most of my older relatives) seemed to enjoy the fantastic decor.  Even for those of us who have MAME cabs, there is nothing quite like being in a real arcade.  Playing Tron, Tempest, etc. on the correct controls was a real treat.  At one point, even my mom played some Ms. Pacman, which just goes to show you how fun the place is.  Anyone within driving distance should absolutely check it out.
