WTB: Pinball corners
« on: June 07, 2007, 03:43:10 pm »
This might be a strange request, but I'm trying to find those metal corners found on pinball machines.  Preferably, just the corners.  I want to put them on the CP I'm working on to give it a real pinball feel.

Thanks!

Will

Do you mean the lockdown bar?

I actually thought about getting that, too, but I think my CP may end up being slightly wider than a true pinball table.  But, I'm talking about the metal corners where you rest your hands (kind of the caps for the lockdown bar).

Now that I think about it, I think it'd be good to get the lockdown bar and the corners, if possible.

Yes, that thing is awesome.  It's kind of what I'm going for, but I'm putting together a full 2p fighter setup with a trackball, 2 spinners, and a dedicated 4-way.

/EDIT:  Actually, yeah, that's exactly what I want.  A lockdown bar, and the metal on the sides as well, just like in that example.

Aha!  Thank you for that info, but I think $42+ shipping is a bit much for a simple aesthetic touch.  I found some guys to sell me lockdown bars for $30 w/ shipping, so I'll see if they can toss in some siderails.

I didn't think he meant siderails because they don't actually cover the corner.  Oh well.

I was actually considering getting siderails in addition, but now I think I just want the lockdown bar.  I've found some suppliers of it for a good enough price, so I'm going to go for it.  Thanks for the help guys.

Well, I'm using an old one and chopping it up.  I'm just using the corners.
