Help choosing arcade console to fit larger monitor
« on: May 31, 2007, 11:06:17 pm »
I am in the process of looking for a classic arcade console from the 80s that has 19" monitor (horizontal most likely) and 2 player. These are basically non-working units that I basically want  to update the controls, convert it to a MAME mulitcade w/PC and replace the 19" either with a 27" arcade monitor or TV (component),....probably the tv due to $.  Keeping items such as marquee, coin door, coin mechanisms etc. My question is will a 27" monitor or TV even fit ?? If so will they fit in only certain consoles. Any info or suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.
