Spinner question *Fixed Problem*
« on: May 21, 2007, 10:45:37 am »
I tried searching on-line but I can't seem to find the answer so here goes:

I'm using TT2 spinner hooked up USB with GameEx FE and Mame v106.  My spinner works on Windows but doesn't work with any spinner games.

What is the easiest way for me to have Mame recognize the spinner?

Did you enable mouse in MAME?  Did you go into input (general) in MAME and map the mouse to the dial control?

Now that I think of it I might have changed the setting in paddle and not dial.  I'll check when I get home. TX

Isn't this only an issue if you have more than one usb device? (..although, I thought more recent Mame automatically recognised each 'mouse' - 1x, 2x, 3x...)

I fixed the problem.  I accessed the Mame master settings (TAB) and configured all games to use the spinner/paddle with MOUSE 2.  Now every game so far recognizes the spinner  :applaud:
