I currently own 14 games, and want to end up with 6, but not the exact six I own now. The number six comes because that is how many games will fit in the living room in the apartment I plan on moving too, while still leaving room for furniture.
Keeping for sure.
#1 Victory (Pinball)
#2 Crystal Castles
#3 Berzerk (not here yet, but coming once Mongo finishes fixing it).
#4 Mame cabinet (Former Cherry master of all things, toying with the idea of swapping the parts into the Artic Mini).
#5 I am in talks now to get a Roadblasters cockpit, so if that comes through it will be number 5.
#6 I don't know?
The probable sell/trade list
Top Gunner (very very nice, except for crappy monitor).
Turbo
Jack the Giantkiller cocktail
English Mark Darts (Super 6 Plus II)
Checkmate (Missing boardset).
Kangaroo (possible keeper, it is just so darn pretty)
Time Pilot (Dedicated cocktail, serial number 000007, love this, but it is a space hog, still may keep it as #6 anyway).
Assault (Deal already made on this one).
Project games that I am going to get going before I decide on their fate.
Radar Zone
The Amazing Maze game (possible keeper)
I also have an ATW (Artic) bootleg mini that looks brand new. It has no boardset installed though. Thing only had 700 plays on the coin meter. Monitor looked new as well, (but really needs capped, probably from sitting unused I guess?) I will probably end up keeping this over and above my limit of 6 games (it fits in the closet anyway).
Feel free to make offers on any of this stuff. Especially if those offers include money or games I like. I would also like some help pricing this stuff, not exactly sure what all of it is actually worth?
Now there is also the debate over what to get for game number 6? I really want that Roadblasters for number 5, but I am fairly undecided over the last game.
The 7-10 games I will sell should bring in enough where I can pretty much have my choice of games.
SO here is what I am considering.
Q*Bert - I have always liked it, and that multi Q*Bert kit sure looks appealing. Plus the rotated stick means this is one you can't play 100 percent correctly in MAME unless you make a special panel.
Pac-Man - Good old Pac-Man. I don't need to explain this one.
Galaga or Galaga 88' - Love em both, but they are a bit on the pricy side. Probably won't get either.
Robotron - Definitely a favorite. But they are so expensive that it would probably take pretty much everything I got for selling the other games.
Namco Classics Volume II - I am leaning heavily towards this one as well. Just kind of hard to find the whole machines, but the boardsets seem readily available at $300 each.
Missile Command - I love this game, but I never played a real one. Just played it on Atari, in Mame, and on that Missile/Multipede combo machine.
Burgertime - Love this game, but afraid I might get tired of it, since it has patterns.
Zoo Keeper - A great game. But I don't seem to see them for sale very often.
I am probably totally forgetting something even better.
What would you pick as game #6 in my case?
