BYOAC events?
« on: April 17, 2003, 12:40:59 am »
I've noticed that we've got a helluva community here and was wondering if anyone has ever considered having a BYOAC event?  I'm also involved in rollercoaster enthusiast groups, so it's odd for me to see such a large group of enthusiasts that rarely get together as a group.  I was thinking that maybe someone could take over one for a few different cities around the country and rent a place out or something.  I know there are large groups around Cleveland, Chicago and southern California.  Anyone up to it?

I have wondered the same thing. Really, it would be nice to see some of these cabinets in person.
Every millennium
A warrior emerges.
Trained in the deadly arts of the ninja.
Moving with the swiftness of the wind
Striking with deadly accuracy
They are proud
They are strong
They're Scottish

I wasn't necessarily thinking of everyone bringing their cabinets to be seen, as that would be a huge pain for everyone to cart their stuff around.  What I had in mind was more of a few of people going out to an arcade for a night or something of that nature.

That sounds like an awesome idea, If anyone is around the DC metro area, there is a Dave and Busters with a ton of games at White Flint Mall.
Any one up for it?
