Yes but only ZTNet is making them now I'm pretty sure, no where else is selling them.

I also missed them. The day they were back in stock I took some time to figure out what else I needed from their store. By the time I went to add the Adaptoids to my cart they were gone!   :'(

I assume what is happening is they have them in stock but they are not all assembled.

I contacted ZTnet store asking when they would be back in stock, I got a response today that said "Most likely next week".

I created an account on their site and then went to the Adaptoid page and clicked "Notify me of updates to Adaptoid". Hopefully it will email me when they make it available again.

Must be them Ebayers.  Everyone's got dreams of the $100 auction prices they were going for.  Not sure if they still do since the remanufacturing of them.

I bought myself an extra one when they were first available, as I was hoping they wouldn't make too much more of them.  However, if resellers keep going overboard, and buying up all the stock, it's gonna trash the resale value of these things on auction, as ztnet will just keep making more of them, since they sell out everytime.

No problem with that here.  If I end up not being able to sell my second down the road for at least what I paid, I'll just keep it.

I still have a status of awaiting payment on their site, and I dont even see the adaptoid on there anymore.  I'm really thinking about requesting a refund.

Why don't you contact them. It may be that something went wrong with the payment. Did you ever get confirmation emails from them?

I ordered mine on Saturday and on monday the status went to shipped. I received them today, haven't tried them out yet.

Yeah I might do that thanks for the link.  I was just thinking if I really wanted it since I already have one of the cheap adapters.

Here is an update.  I emailed him, and he said that I didn't check something when I put my creditcard in, and that I had selected to pay by check.  He wanted to know how I wanted to proceed.  I told him just to go ahead and charge the credit card that I had entered.  Never got a response after that and today my status is still awaiting payment.  Last time I checked the item wasn't even on the site anymore.  So I emailed him again I believe yesterday morning asking him to cancel my order, but still haven't heard from him.  I'll give him another couple of days on this because he might not have seen my email yet.  I just feel like he stalling because he doesn't have any instock.

Normally on website forms when you select a certain option the data for options you did not select wont be recorded. So you had the radio button "pay by check" selected and then the "credit card" radio button is not selected, even if you type stuff into the fields for the credit card info it most likely was not recorded because it thought you wanted to use a check.
So they may not even have your credit card info.

I just feel like he stalling because he doesn't have any instock.

I usually received email replies after about 24 hours, but once it did take a few days.

I can't be sure of this but I do believe they still have the parts for the adaptoids instock. ZTnet Store had the parts made and they did final assembly themselves. So most likely they have the parts but they are not assembled, they are probably selling faster than they have time to assemble more. Here is the thread from when they were doing the initial Adaptoid Production.

I ended up canceling my order because he never would change my order.  I gave him my cc info and told him to charge it, but he never responded for like a week and my order stayed on pending.

Gone again today.  Guess they really are building and selling them a few at a time.
