So spending a week in a hotel room with no good arcade control outlet (other than playing with my desktop CP and foruming) can give a guy some silly ideas. I was trying to figure out what the consequences would be if I hacked apart the LodgeNET controller that is hooked to my Hotel TV so I could play the video games on my CP instead of the joypad. It seemed like a funny idea and I wondered if anybody else had thought of it in the past. I am sure that the hotel would charge me (well, the company I'm working for) way too much for it to be worth it, but it would be funny for sure. Maybe if I took up a collection from folks that would like to see it done I could afford to pay the Hotel for the controller. It'd be kind of like when a bunch of guys get together and pay a friend to do something stupid.... oh, wait... It would be EXACTLY like that.
Anybody in for $20, I think with about 4 or 5 takers I could probably afford it.
