Do you mean the Happs "heavy duty trigger stick?"  It will work, but it's an 8-way restrictor.  You pretty much have to find an original, or convince one of our fabricating friends to make a new one to get a real TRON restrictor.

He asked about the grommet.

I KNOW that the grommets will swap between the Tron, Discs of Tron, and Xenophobe sticks.
I'm not sure about the Happ ones though because I don't have one of those to the best of my knowledge.

I THINK they are the same as the Xenophobe sticks, except that they use microswitches in place of the leafswitches, but I can't swear to it.

NO!!! MinerAl was entirely correct in his answer!! The original TRON restrictor (Gromet) is entirely different to the others. It's a 4 way restrictor, that is made of rubber and because it's made of rubber you can hit the diagonal 8 way positions if you push really hard towards the corners.

The rest of the sticks DOT, HAPP etc etc have 8 way restrictors.

Encryptor asked about the centering grommet, not the restrictor.

My recollection matches NoOne's, although I only have Tron stick bits now.

Cheers

True... But the answer is that the Happ ones are subtly different. I've got one in front of me right now and it's not going to fit an original stick.

Why Happ felt a need to redesign it I'm not sure, maybe it was a licencing issue, who knows.
