FS/FT Old Marquees (Sacramento CA)
« on: May 02, 2007, 11:36:41 pm »
I'm slowly going through my recently acquired marquees and culling the ones I'm willing to sell. I'm going to start slow and add more as time permits. All of the marquees have minor damage of varying degrees due to poor storage by the previous owner. Most look like they've been removed from cabs. I'm told that these are not reproductions, but I'm not certain if that statement is entirely true since some still have protective paper (where noted). None of these are in mint condition due to poor storage by previous owner. Sorry.

Unless otherwise noted, all are Best Offers. PM me.
You pay for shipping, if required.
I ship only on weekends.
Local pickup for those in the Sacramento area considered.
Will consider trades :)

Here are some of word definitions.

Blemishes: scratches across the face of the marquee. Does not directly affect art and can be polished out.
Scratches: scratches across the art side of the marquee, the kind that causes light leakage. Paint or light diffuser would be required to hide light leakage.
Trimmed: Original was trimmed to fit in a smaller space.
~: The tilde means approximately.

Other descriptions should be obvious.

  • Champion Baseball II
  • Lady Bug (Does not match KLOV entry. Blue with Yellow text in plain font. Has bits of a different marquee attached to front.)
  • Mania Challenge (I have two, one with ~1/2" trimmed from bottom? and the other with ~1/4" trimmed from side? based on comparison with KLOV, may be more trimmed off than I estimated.)
  • Ring King (Never installed, still has protective paper. Dime sized piece broken from corner.

For some reason I thought I earmarked more, until I realized three of them are Street Fighter II's. It would be insulting to try and sell them. They're simply pieces of plexi with cut up side(?) images stickered on. If, for whatever ---fouled up beyond all recognition--- up reason, someone wants them, they're free. You pay shipping.

Can't figure out how to send images via PM's without uploading them elsewhere. So at the request of one patron, here's the crappy SFII marquees.

The white area is the white pad they're sitting on and not actually part of the marquee.

Edit: SFII marquees are going out in the trash next week. June 26th.

The SFII Marquee's are gone. Apologies to anyone who might have wanted them.

TRON plastic monitor bezel. The plastic shroud appears to be in great shape, but the sticker art is cracked. Might require some careful touching up or a person can replace with repro art. Just give me an offer. Due to size and how fragile it is, it'll probably be cost prohibitive to ship, so local pickup only. It takes too much room when it's not in a cab so I want it out of here.
