Help with Mala issues...
« on: May 02, 2007, 09:57:26 pm »
I've been using MALA since I built my cabinet. The biggest reason for this was that there was an excellent easy to follow guide created to set it up.

I have to odd issues.

First, I have a Last Starfighter themed cabinet. I set up a couple of MP3s to play in the background, and every once in a while they just don't begin playing when I start Mala. I have to go in and re-import them after I start the program. They show up in the list, but won't play. They've never been moved or anything.

Second, (this one is more annoying) I have Mala set up in the startup items. Once the system is done loading, mala kicks in. I have the start menu set to hide, so it pops up when you go to the bottom of the screen on the desktop. Anyway, when Mala begins, the start menu is present (hidden but barely visable- you can see the top of the bar slightly) and I have to scroll around for a second in Mala to get it to disappear. It's like Mala hasn't taken over the full screen. It drives me nuts. Anything I'm missing?
