Are these quality parts?
« on: April 29, 2007, 10:19:45 am »
Hello, I'm new to the whole arcade thing, and I found a good deal on some arcade parts over at xgaming.com.  Have any of you ever purchased separate  parts there not just the full assembled things?

X-Arcade parts are ok. They are not on par with Happs or Sanwa, but they are servicable. It should be noted that I changed all the buttons and controllers in my own X-Arcade...the Happs are definately superior to X.

Check with Divemaster or Ponyboy over on the B/S/T board...you can probably get some Happ product for about the same price.

Ponyboy & I(divemaster127) both offer very good prices on happ parts, etc, send either of us a pm if you need a quote.  In my opinion happ parts are far better than xarcade parts
dm
I carry both ultimarc & happ items, all brand new & I ship from the united states. My online store is ARCADEEMULATOR.NET, pm if I can help in anyway.

The only thing I can seriously fault with X-Gaming's buttons and sticks is that they're clicky. Really clicky. All microswitch-based controls are clicky, but X-Gamings take clickiness to a whole other level.

Buttons are good, but all buttons are generally similar. I like the feel of the sticks; they do have a very short throw though, so keep that in mind if you like a nice long throw on your sticks.
