Happ Trackball Replacements
« on: April 14, 2003, 08:24:40 pm »
I recently mentioned I was buying a clear juggling ball as an alternative tot he highly priced($55) clear ball from happ.  Well,  I just got it and let me say it is so damn perfect it's unreal.  the weight and size are damn near the same if not THE same.  THey seemt o be made out of the same material and everything.  I installed it just now nad is perfect.  Below is the website.  They have all sorts of colors and even a glow in the dark ball.    The glitter one is pretty gay though.   Very easy to deal with too.  ball came so fast I was amazed.  Anyway I am starting to sound like a comercial so here's the link

www.extremespin.com  look under juggling.

I was looking at these types of balls but was always worried about scratching.  Usually you'll see "polishing kits" for clear juggling balls or clear "contact balls", as if they scratch easily.

Can you report on this?  (after a couple days use is best.)  TIA!

played a game of golden tee golf and it doesn't seem to be scratched.  I would imagine they get scratched when jugglers drop them LOL.

The blue UV reactive one looks awesome!! Can you imagine that in a 1UP style Tron control panel lit with a blacklight?

If you build a frankenpanel, chances are I don't care for you as a person.

Can you post a pic of your installed trackball?  As I'm looking to get one and I would like to see how it looks.

Thanks!

slikstick have cool stainless steel joysticks. I am wondering if there is such a thing as stainless steel trackballs? I think they would both look cool on a CP. but would a SS trackball they work in real life? think it would have to be hollow else would be too heavy.

Hey those balls are great... they come in two sizes 2.5 and 3inches. I'll go for the clear one... there's also a 3 pack for about 13 bucks!!  ;D
