On the way home from work, I noticed a TV on someone's treelawn.  I walked up, knocked on the door and asked if the lady was throwing it out.  She told me yes and that I could have it.  I had to go back to the office to get someone to help me load it.  I got it into the van and into my house.

Now, it's not like no one has ever gotten a free TV, but this was a 55" big screen!

On top of that, the TV had a screen protector (those are usually the first thing some people I know get rid of) and it was a 55" (diagonal) pc of smoked plexi!  Now I don't have to buy that either!

The TV is old (SD and out of calibration), but it will go great in the garage and now I don't have to drop any cash on plexi!
