Very nice. The plans you have are top notch also. I saved a set for future designs. Impressed.  :notworthy:

Looks good. It's a big CP but you can tell some thought went into it. From the sloped angle of the monitor to the sloped speaker area. Those are things that many people do as an after thought.

Where did you get the speaker grills?

Thanks for the feedback! ;D

The speaker grills are from HAPP Controls..

They are less than $5.00.. ;)

Nice plans.  I was curious and maybe I over looked it.  What do you have access to the pc, inside of the cab?  Did you make a hinge on the front or what?

For PC access, you just remove the back panel.  I only put in 6 screws.  It's 1/4" material (masonite) that acts as a cover.  If the keyboard is needed, it actually slips through the coin door in the front.  Usually, once set up, you don't really even need the keyboard (if you use a good front end like Game Ex)...

My other design (2pc) has access through the front that swings like a door, I don't like it.  :-\ This design could be converted to that, but you would need to add some support in there.....

 Thanks  :)

Those are some seriously great plans.  Thanks for sharing!!  Oh yeah, very nice work on the cabinet too!!  I'm probably going to use your CP dimensions when I finally build my Project Arcade/LuSiD/Knievel MAME cabinet...

Thanks!

if you had a wireless net card you could use VNC to control the computer in the cab without having to remove the back panel.  You would just use your regular one to control it for settings and software upgrades.

Good frontend still needed though  :D

Its funny you say that, I use that exact program to configure mine wirelessly!  The only thing I don't like about VNC is that it is not as robust as some other options, but its easy and free....

ooh yeah on the free.

I'm going to use it because its crossplatform and open source

use my laptop to control the video puter hiding in an end table for vids and torrents, have the wifes ok to add it to the project list.

not on the honey-do list yet so it will have to wait, but what i didn't tell her is that i'm going to add a wireless controller to it and load up mame.
