Not a real answer, but..

What do you mean with "a UK format" ..is it not an European format? Here in Finland similar units, not "Smart Strip", go for about 7-15€, anyway.

#2: WWW ...

Good luck.

Hi there!

There's numerous firms selling these gadgets here in Europe, they're just not named Smart Strip for the obvious reasons..

Anyway, it seems that the manufacturers, or resellers for that matter, don't really seem to advertise the MASTER-SLAVE function on their stuff?!

Me and you, we've got the same current 230 V / 50 Hz, just the plugs are different. (http://kropla.com/electric2.htm)

So..

I have one in my Bombjack bartop that I paid like 12 Euros for -> Pictures:

And, no surprise, I've got another for "possible future needs" that was 9.90 Euros..

I don't know the manufacturer of the one used in Bombjack, but the other is made by uni-elektra -> http://www.uni-elektra.com ..You'll find more info on their stuff for UK & Ireland here http://www.uni-elektra.com/kontakt/kontaktnav.htm?uk.htm

..and in case these won't help ..there's always this .. http://www.magellans.com/store/Phone___Electric_Connectivity___Plug_Adaptors?Args=&page_number=1

Good luck :)

Yours,

Psychotech.

Hope you'll find a working solution!

..I'm sure these master/slave extensions are available in the UK also ..you'll probably just have to do some detective work to find 'em.

Good luck :)

Please, do tell us what you find out ..all the info & links to resellers are sure appreciated by us all!

Psycho.

Just pull the plug on your TV and give it 20 seconds and plug it in again.   If it comes back to the same video you are golden.  If it does not come back on try turning it on and see if it comes back to the same video setting.  From your explaination of how it comes on when you turn it on it sounds like it doesn't remember. You don't need the power strip just to test the action of your TV.
