Need help with a CP design.
« on: April 15, 2007, 07:03:35 pm »
Hello all.

I am really in need of some decent suggestions.  I have an old Tempest Cabinet (which the original artwork was destroyed so I am not going to restore it back to Tempest) and as some of you may know, the CP is pretty tight for two people.  I really want a CP that is similar to the Slikstick CO2 unit but not as bulky.  I DO NOT want to cut up the CAB in any way so I am looking for anyone who has designed a larger CP to sort of work with the existing CAB and have it not look atrocious.  If anyone has any links or ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it!

On second thought, I think I am going to lose those extra two joysticks.  It means I'll only be able to play Smash TV alone but it's better that working out all that extra space.  Maybe I can modify the CP that is in Saint's book to fit this somehow.

You can borrow my design and graft it onto your machine. No one would care at all:

He's kidding 100" X 48" will NOT fit through the door, His is only 100" X 47 1/2" . You can carry it through sideways.

Seriously most people just design their own, and then post it to see if they made any "bad" choices.

You can do a search or try this to help you along.

I am a little late to reply but I just had to say that the "perfect CP" thread was funny enough, but seeing Lew post it as a suggestion is just hilarious.   :laugh2: That is practically a picture of me when I glanced down the thread after reading the topic but before I read the original post.
