Hmmm, I still pretty much feel that any cabinet that is still solid is worth something, Having it the Guts makes it more so.  It costs more than $60 just for the materials to build one yourself.

Now I'm not saying that these should or shouldn't be mamed but if someone were to buy them for that purpose it would be better than seeing them rot.

The guy doesn't have a Digital camera...He said some of the art is peeling but that he thinks the cab is repairable.  He sounded like an older guy who'd had these for some time.

CW - If you are serious shoot me a PM.  I live 2 hours away but it might be fun to work something out.

If I were close, I would buy them in a second. It is pretty stupid to assume any BW game is worthless just because it isn't working. If my Space Invaders had a loose connection and didn't work, would it be worthless? I think not. Somebody get these and try to fix them up right.

Boot Hill is a great example of a game that just isn't really MAME-able.  Sure, you can play it in MAME, but it's just about the saddest graphics you'll ever see when all you're getting is the emulated B&W.

But the real thing with the mirror and all the artwork, really, really comes alive.  There's just no way to recreate it on a PC monitor.  You've just got to see the real thing to appreciate it.
