I have tried my jukebox with WMP 11.0 at work and a friend also tried my application on his Vista machine (which comes with WMP-v11.0 installed) and it seems the jukebox application does not play MPG files for some reason.

I need to look into this ......  just letting people know to stick with WMP9.0 or 10.0 in the meantime

Well, I just upgraded a computer at my house to Windows Media Player 11.0 and my application works find.   I needed to install the appropriate codecs for the videos I wanted to play, but that is just normal WMP setup.

Anyway, I believe the computers which had problems on it before simply did not have the correct codecs loaded......

are you using the DLL or OCX, try and look at that Simple Juke Source i posted because i just modded that and it played MPG files on my machine which has WMP11. Just change the filemask to MPG and make the media player box bigger.

Another thing might be the codecs or filters try the K-Lite codec pack off www.betanews.com

My current jukebox plays MPGs via WMP so I already know how to use the control.  I just noticed that computer's with WMP11.0 (my new work computer as well as my friend's new computer) that the MPGs are not playing in my application.

I would assume it is a codec problem, but I just wanted to warn people to test it out before completely switching over yet.
