Beer Proof Keyboard
« on: April 10, 2007, 06:39:26 pm »
Here is a keyboard that is supposed to be sealed so liquid will not damage it.  Great for those beer drinking BYOACers.

I don't recommend the retailer but I am sure you can find it somewhere else.

Also could provide a solution for folks who hate that 10 minutes of BYOAC'ing they miss while in the shower...

Why not that retailer? Did your keyboard show up sticky and reeking of stale beer?  :dunno

many have had bad experiences with the retailer and their rebate offers, while others haven't.... bringing up the companies name will just add another debate on how they suck or how great they are....

p.s. I still want my damn rebates

I just spent a couple hours the other day resurrecting an 800 from the dead.  Good stuff.

That's a 400, not an 800 you barbarian!

Actually, I have a 600XL (256 kB modded) two 400's (one with 48 kB Ram) and one 800 laying around somewhere. (Not an 800XL, but the real thing  8)) Just saw on the internet someone managed to build a modern ide harddisk inside an 800XL? That's challenging  :)

Wow I thought I was the only one that built my cab powered by Miller Lite!! The other night I did have to tell my on father not sit his beer bottle on my CP while playing Baseball Stars 2!
My old user name was marlborroman13, but I kicked the habit many years ago!

I didn't way it was an 800.  I said mine is an 800.

If it makes you feel better, a couple weeks ago, I gave away a stack of computers like this.  A 400, a couple TI99s, and a TRS-80.  I think a C-128 as well.  They were all in great shape but varying states of functionality.  The guy I gave them to will resurrect them properly.
