Interesting Finds
« on: April 06, 2007, 05:23:11 pm »
I wanted to share a couple of sites I found when a came to a problem on my jukebox, I needed to run my jukebox application at full volume and control the sound card volume that is on the task bar. The reason is because i needed the volume high on the juke app. so i could get suffecient audio through the record buffer for audio control of my lighting. The problem was to find a program that i could use to do this that would also work with the IPac. The first solution I found was a program called Volume Touch and it is a free download. I downloaded it and installed then i went in and setup my IPac to handle the key presses that control Volume Touch and it works. The only thing I don't like is it steps up the volume about 8% each keypress. So I decided to contact the programmer and not much luck in getting him to tailor it with a options screen or change the steps. So I decided to look again and found the next program which is a free download and this rocks. You can do more with Autohotkey then imaginable, I will just let you read about it.

It would be nice to make a sticky with great finds for our applications, does anybody agree?

Greetings!

Looks like an interesting utility.  Don't have a specific use for it now but I am sure it will come in handy in the future.  I have downloaded the util and bookmarked the site.   Maybe you could add it to the wikki in the area about utility programs.
