changing coin mech rom quarter to Token
« on: April 06, 2007, 10:20:44 am »
has anyone tried the "fix" to make an existing quarter mech to a token one by scraping/shaving something down.  is there a link for it somewhere that I could check it out, is it reliable?

Thanks,

Chapel

Coin acceptor manufacturers generally have "conversion kits" available to convert some of their mechanical acceptors to tokens. Remember there are several sizes of tokens so you need to know what size the tokens are you plan on using so you get the right kit.

www.coinmech.com makes kits for their brand and models.
