which button should I use for start and which for coin

so i have a button with a guy on it like a regular arcade machine, the little black guy, and a button with an arrow, well it's more of a sideways black triangle, which do you think would be more logical as coin and which as start, is the guy typically start on most arcade machines?

Agreed.  I used a green button next to start for coin inputs - "green = color of money".  Made sense to me, but probably only to me.

One project had GOLD buttons for the coin.  It was metallic paint but still GOLD. :o :laugh2:

MikeDuece makes little vinyl '25¢' decals that you can use for coin buttons.  I think they are on his back burner at the moment though.  Check this thread:

Good idea, I forgot about them.

Another is RandyT's NovaGem CDR's or wiring to the coin return switches, if either of those would be options for you.
