Wanted: top door of an over/under coin door
« on: April 02, 2007, 03:53:57 pm »
I just picked up a cabinet that was used in an arcade that had a card-based credit system installed in all of their machines, so they removed the coin parts from the coin door and cut a square hole in it for the card reader.  I would like to replace the top door only.  I really am looking for a top door with the coin slots and mechs for US quarters.

I am also curious if there is a single door style that uses the same size doors as the over/under so that I could just pop one of those in there.

I am a cheap bastard and would rather spend some time cleaning up and or painting a used door than pay for a brand new one, but if the price is right I guess I'll save some time and buy it.  I think I'd even be willing to settle for mechs that are not functional, I could figure out some way to jerry-rig them, I don't think I will use coins too often anyhow.

Any advice or offers will be greatly appreciated.

I think I have an extra "under" door somewhere in the garage.  If you can't find an over, shoot me a PM
