anyone seen this yet? there are poster/props advertising it in the cinema and i thought its obviously just to get your interest up for a new movie. but now i read on the net that what you see is what you get! a woman with an m16 for a leg? hmmm, im probably the only one here but i was quite dissappointed in kill bill so im not so keen to blindly go see a tarantino flick anymore...

Agreed.  Haven't liked much from him myself.  I think he just likes hearing his name announced.

From what I have read, Rodriguezes part of the film is very good (the zombie holocaust/ woman with m16 leg part). The reviews weren't so good for Tarantino's part ( The Kurt Russell Interstate killer part).
I'll wait for dvd on this one, but really want to see the first half anyways.

I agree that Tarantino is hit & miss. I loved Pulp Fiction, hated Reservoir dogs, loved Kill Bill I, was so-so on Kill Bill II.

Begs one question.

Will it be better than that game, you know the one, where you splatter zombies against a house?  Whats it called again?
But wasn't it fun to think you won the lottery, just for a second there???

I agree.  Reservoir Dogs is an outstanding movie, as were Four Rooms, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Natural Born Killers, True Romance, and Killing Zoe.  I'm lukewarm on the Kill Bill movies, and other than the kitch factor for From Dusk till Dawn (first one only) not a big fan of that one either.

Advance Grindhouse Review
http://movies.ign.com/articles/775/775718p1.html

And yes, I got really bored with reservoir Dogs. Maybe I turned it off before it got good, I don't know. Tarantino's extended dialogues can really kill a movie. The main reason I didn't like Kill Bill II was the sit down talk between Kiddoe and Bill. Talk about bringing the movie to a grinding halt.
