PC Steering Wheel
« on: March 28, 2007, 12:51:38 pm »
Hi,

I finished my cab some time ago. It's a cocktail and I'd never really thought about adding a wheel. But increasingly I find myself wanting a better experience with driving games.

I've moved to a smaller place now and DIY isn't really an option. So I'm looking for a PC consumer 270 degree wheel which works well with MAME. It's got to be USB HID compliant since I run Linux. I've had a good search on the web and searched this forum, but it's difficult from most sites to determine if wheels are HID compliant, have windows specific drivers, or how well they're built.

I don't want force feedback since there's no way to support it in MAME, but pedals would be nice. Can anyone recommend a good wheel for this purpose?

Cheers for any help.
