Help ASAP! PCI Card for MAME!!

hey guys, well i installed my PCI card i bought in my hewlett packard 533w pavilion, and the s video wont work for it for some reason??

for instance, i used the disc they included with my pci card and installed the drivers, but whenever the computer starts up the startup process shows up on my tv, but then when it gets to the "pick user" for windows xp it goes back to the computer monitor??

Any ideas what can be causing this?? im trying to find an answer ASAP. if anyone has any ideas or is online and could help please send me an IM on aol. my username is Parpunk. thanks!

You have to turn on tv out from within windows. you usually have to install the video drivers as well as the additional software to do so.

OR most video cards will leave the tv out functioning if there is no monitor plugged in durring the whole boot process.

hey man yea i know theres more to it, but i kinda need someone to tell me exatly what to do, ive never installed one of these before, and i have no iea what procedures to take to turn on the tv out from within windows. anyone have AOL IM ane could walk me through the process??? i really wanna make this work. thanks!

It might help to know which video card and drivers you're using.
