Hi Guys!!
I just scored a cracking deal! a NANAO ms8-26su Monitor. Got it off ebay, from a guy local to me who had completely stripped a fully working SEGA Virtua Striker. I nearly cried! It was not only fully working but in absolutely immaculate external and internal condition and with hardly any hours on it. The monitor is really clean I've seen ones in our own arcade look dirtier than that, after just a couple of months use.
Got the monitor for £17 GBP....

However... when I got there, he said I'm trying to get rid of the cabinet as well.... I just scored this immaculate condition cab for £10 GBP !!!!!!!

Picking the cab up on Monday.
Now on to my problems..... He's already sold the game power supply... I'd guess but I'm not sure, if the isolation transformer has also gone from the bottom of the cab forgot to look...

. I note that the NANAO needs one to work in the UK because it's 120V input. So I can't fire it up right now.
First thing I desperately need is a manual for this monitor.... does anybody happen to have one please? I searched the forum and the web with no luck on this.
Given that it's already stripped, this cab is prime candidate for being my new Mame machine.
Please help me out if you can guys. I really need to know how the sync is wired on this monitor and also what the heck the SS Switch on the tweaking controls under the screen does?? is it the degauss??
The other thing I need to know, is do you guys think it's practical or possible to run this monitor from the S-Video out on an ATI card?? I'm really not bothered about running at native game resolutions, so I'm not wanting to look at an AVGA Card if I can avoid doing that and still get reasonable results on screen. This is the main reason I need to know how the sync is wired.... It appears to have RGB pins + 2 Sync wires... However I always thought that this model ran on composite sync?? any clues here??
Best Regards,
