Has anyone bought speakers from "fix your ipod&more"?
« on: March 23, 2007, 12:43:27 am »
They are an internet based retailer and have lots of "Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Speakers" for sale as "used".
here's the link: http://search.stores.ebay.com/fix-your-ipod-more_Klipsch-ProMedia-2-1-Speaker_W0QQfcdZ2QQfciZQ2d1QQfclZ3QQfromZR10QQfsnZfixQ20yourQ20ipodQ26moreQQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQftsZ2QQsaselZ24633127QQsatitleZKlipschQ20ProMediaQ202Q2e1Q20SpeakerQQsofpZ0QQssPageNameZRC0021

I figured I'd strip them out of their enclosures anyways, to mount them in a Juke Cab, so what's the diff?
Generally they retail for about $150, but looks like you can pick them up here or iPay for about $60.

Is it possible to remove the Bass from it's enclosure? or would that destroy the acoustics? (I'd like to mount it in the bottom of the cab, but the box size is kinda wasteful.)

Any sugggestions?              Still planning.

Thanks again guys!  MPTech
