Virtua Fighter 2 cab - is it worth it??
« on: March 16, 2007, 06:50:41 pm »
Hi, I have the chance to buy this cab for £215 and an hours drive. Do you guys think that is worth the cash?

It will be played 'as is' for a while then converted to a mame cab later with a new CP etc if I buy.

Here is the Ad for the machine

Thanks in advance

You are bidding on a sega Virtua Fighter
coin operated arcade mchine.

The machine is in excellent working order
and has only a few signs of wear and tear.

It comes complete with owners manual.
A new lock has also been fitted on the machine recently.

The game is great fun to play, with both joystics
and all buttons and moves for the players
working perfectly.

If you want to view the machine any time,
not a problem, just email me.

This item is pickup only, so grab yourself a bargain.
No reserve!!!

I'm in the US and have no idea what the market is for games in your area (not to mention I'm not sure how much that is in USD - probably up to about $1,000 now  ;D)...

However, for what it's worth, from the pictures it appears to be in good condition with a nice big monitor.  If you're set on converting it, I'd say the shape and configuration of the cabinet should be one of your primary concerns.

Not sure if that's any help...
