I'm back, pics of my first time Simple project
« on: April 08, 2003, 01:23:53 pm »
Well i decided to make a joystick about 4 weeks ago.  After about 2 weeks of searching and reading over here on arcadecontrols.com......i finally started on my first Playstation joystick project 2 weeks ago.  I finished last week and have been jamming with my roommates ever since.

I ended up going with the competition joysticks, and although i did not get around to trying out the ultimates....these competition joysticks are flawless for streetfighter!  and i have been playing streetfighter since 91, and these joysticks perform and feel just like the arcade...if not better!  Here is a pic of my first project.....i ordered a Playstation to USB converter and have my mame roms.  So i'll see how the joystick performs on that very soon.

Thanks again for all the help, and quick responses to my posts.

i'll be around

peace

oh and i made two...i only have a pic of one

Yeah,  the t.v. is mainly for PLaystation.  I will be using a 19in monitor for mame.  Anyone know how mame would look using tvout on a tv?

There's tons of info on these boards about that.  TV's are the best bang for your buck as far as size goes.
