Trackball question. or mouse encoder Randy T
« on: March 04, 2007, 02:04:05 am »
Hey,
I just built my first mame machine.  I installed my happ 3 inch trackball and plug it in assuming it will start working just like a mouse.   nothing works, no mouse movement.  I have it plugged into a opti wiz from groovygamegear.  I bought the no solder ps/2.  I then bought a ps/2 to usb converter and still nothing works.  I tried shorting the axis wires without the trackball plugged in and it works.  Is my trackball broken?  Is there something else i need to do?  Please let me know.

Email is best for sorting out something like this.

Drop me a note and maybe we can figure out what's going on.
