Yeah, they looked all fun to play and stuff when they first came out.  Novel, etc...

Now, looking at some of the hip moves featured in the attached pic that you can do with it, I don't want it.

I hope you all understand.

I hope this is a joke (the part about you not wanting a wii).  We aren't even out of the launch cycle yet, and therefore all the games released thus-far (as great as some of them are) will be utter crap compared to the upcoming, second-wave of titles.

Remember when the n64 came out?  If we based how good the n64 was on it's launch title (mk trilogy) then it would have never got off the ground.

Any reason why you're telling us this? Seems like a thread to cause trouble with us Wii lovers.  ;D

Oh I did, but that still doesn't answer anything.

I didn't find it particularly funny because I'm one of those "catch every flaw in everything" type of guys.  I'm the type of guy that pretty much ignored the first section of the pilot episode to Quantum Leap because the stupid set designer used a digital clock a good 8-10 years before they were invented yet.  I'm the type of guy that'll notice the two frames in a picture where the digital fx guy got drunk and forgot to erase some wires in the background.

So pornographic wii poses aren't particularly funny to me because the wii's tracking limitation would make those stances nearly impossible to track. ;)

I agree, the poses are just too gay.  I'm planning on returning mine this weekend.

The N64 launched with one of the greatest video game titles of all time, a top 5 all world genre creating game.  Even more than a decade later Super Mario 64 is better than most games coming out on later platforms.  If you judged the N64 based on its primary launch title it is the best platform ever created.

And it's a damned good thing, too, since the N64's list of launch games was a whopping 2-games long   ;D

Yeah, I want to say it launched with Pilotwings alongside Mario, and we saw Waverace during the following month, but I could be mixing up those games.  I don't even know when MK came out cos I've always thought MK games were ---smurfy--- so I've always pretty much ignored them.

Not sure when Waverace came out, but Pilotwings was definitely the 2nd launch title.

I remember getting my N64 and Mario on launch day, and then my dad bought me Pilotwings a day or two later.... I don't even remember opening Pilotwings for like a month thanks to Mario 64  :laugh2:

It was a pretty fun game too, but I just didn't care.
