Question regarding a gamepad hack

hey guys, I have an extra Dreamcast laying around and I am considering building a cab around it for a little Street Fighter 3 action. Anyone ever done a gamepad hack? I am not a very good at soldering. I looked on the Wiki, and there is not a lot there regarding these types of hacks. I am considering adding my Saturn in there too, Virtua Fighter 2 and Virtua Cop would be awesome!

Did someone say Dreamcast hack?  I provide a control pad hacking service.  My inventory is out right now, but if you provide me with controllers (Sega officials or Madkatz) I will hack them and send them back to you.

I have never tried it but I assume I could once I examine the PCB layout.
