All threads with a new post since you looked last have a little, blue "new" icon after the thread name...it took me a year to finally realize that. Before I just went by post times. ;D

I have happened upon that once, but I do not like the layout of it. Too disorganized, have no idea where each post belongs in context.

Yep, some forums are like that.  This one is not as easy to use as others that show just the thread title, forum section, author and time.  The summary is what makes it hard to follow.

The most efficient way to follow the most recent activity by far is the RSS feed.  I use that and it works very well.

I've asked this question some time ago. And I got what I asked for :)
I just have these 2 links bookmarked, works pretty good like this... I just wish this would be included in this layout =/
