  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
I've just started rebuilding my old pc for my new cocktail cabinet but i can't get the thing to start.

I have the latest full rom set, the latest dat file, mame 0112 and mala.

Mala can see all the games in the list but when i try and run them it flashes a box up and goes back to the list.

Mame 32 works fine.

I think it's video related rather than missing roms. The last machine i did was with normal xp sp2 stripping some services out and that all worked first time.

Has anyone got Tiny XP working?

I'm sure i'm missing something simple but i've searched high and low and can't find an answer.

Please help before i start kicking the thing!

Is there a way of keeping the pop up box displayed to see what it says?

Cheers

You need to try and alunch a game from a 'command pront' so you cab see what the problem mame is having

eg

C:/mame/mame.exe invaders
