IPAC VE USB, anyone tried it...
« on: February 20, 2007, 09:28:09 pm »
Hey everyone,

I'm totally new to this MAME thing, and decided to start my quest with the construction of a desktop controller. I recently ordered a IPAC VE USB from Ultimarc. Has anyone tried this model? Or am I going to be the guinea pig for everyone else?  ::)  Thanks.

And to add, I've read that USB is limited to the number of simultaneous inputs as compared to PS2. Has anyone had a problem with the USB?

I'm a proud owner of the Ipac VE. You wil be very happy with it. Cool programming utility included for an innovative key encoder. Easy to use and understand. Compact. Easy to mount. Updated driver always available from vendors website.

This was my first encoder. I was up and running in minutes.

Ultimarc.com =Awesome tech support if needed.

For a single player desktop encoder...This should be a non-issue.

I use the VE on my cocktail and have had ZERO issues.   Good stuff...my only ---smurfette--- is the FREE shipping took 3x as long as the usual DHL shipping Andy uses...but what in the hell do I want for FREE?!?
